Fischer’s passion and dedication to the arts began at an early age. Trained as a classical ballet dancer from the tender age of 10, he credits his success as a hair stylist to this intense, disciplined education which helped to cultivate his commitment to hard work, technique and a focus on details. Ballet continues to be an integral part of his life.

Following a traditional beauty schooling and apprenticeship, his desire to work with hair intensified. At 23, he opened his first salon in Switzerland to great success, following up with a second salon at 24. Never one to sit still, Fischer traveled to Paris and began working as an editorial hair stylist. In 1998, he landed in New York with the expectation of staying a few months. Twenty years later, Fischer continues to call NYC his home.

With a career that spans more than 25 years in the beauty industry, Fischer is not only an exceptional, innovative hair cut and color technician but his unique free-hand style of cutting and precision-method has made him one of the most highly coveted hair stylists of the global style-set.

Also recognized for his bold, inventive wig-work, Fischer creates daring, new ways of working with wigs and hairpieces for editorial photography and VIP clients. His work has graced every significant fashion publication in the world, as well as his extensive roster of runway hair styling for the best fashion brands across the globe.
